The 2023 Review of Parliamentary Constituency Boundaries in England – Volume one: Report – Yorkshire and the Humber

Humberside and South Yorkshire

  1. As previously set out, in formulating the initial proposals we grouped Humberside and South Yorkshire into a sub-region of 23 constituencies – one less than the existing arrangement. Of the existing constituencies, ten are within the permitted electorate range, 11 have electorates that are below the range and three have electorates above the range.
  2. This sub-region included one constituency – Doncaster East and Axholme – which crossed the county boundary between South Yorkshire and the North Lincolnshire unitary authority.
