Welcome to the Boundary Commission for England’s website.

We are an independent and impartial advisory public body, which reviews the boundaries of Parliamentary constituencies in England. There are separate Commissions that review the Parliamentary constituencies in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and the local government boundaries in England.

We provided the Government with our final recommendations for new constituency boundaries on 5 September 2018. You can view the report itself here. It is the responsibility of the Government to turn those recommendations into draft legislation to be debated by Parliament – though it has brought forward new legislation that would no longer require it to do so.
