2018 Review – Initial proposals for England
The Boundary Commission for England published its initial proposals for revised constituencies in England on 13 September 2016. The best place to view them is on our separate 2018 Review consultation website. Following two rounds of consultation, we are currently considering possible revisions to those proposals. Revised proposals will be published for further consultation towards the end of 2017 or in early 2018.
However, the proposals are also presented here, separately for each region (below), in the form of, for each region: a narrative report (including a listing of wards in each proposed constituency); a summary of that report; and a map of all the proposed constituencies for that region (in pdf format). More detailed smaller-scale maps of individual proposed constituencies can be obtained from the individual page for the relevant region – just click on the heading for that region below.
You can also view a hard copy of the relevant region report, summary, A0 region map, and A3 proposed constituency map in a public place of deposit in each proposed constituency.
- How the constituencies are distributed across England, a listing of all proposed constituencies, and a more localised breakdown;
- All proposed constituencies and their component ward electorate data;
- A complete listing of all English polling district electorates (please note that the data has been provided by local authorities, so the BCE is not responsible for its accuracy).
